Google Vision, 2015
This is a two-channel video piece. The left channel shows a found news on the Large
Hadron Collider. The right channel shows images found online using ‘Google Similar
Image Search’ algorithm matched to images displayed in the video on the left. The work
reflects the ways in which information is re－mediated by Google‘s algorithms.

这是一件双通道视频作品。左边的视频是关于大型强子对撞机的一则新闻；右边的视频则
是通过谷歌的“相似图片”搜索算法，针对左边视频的每一帧，在网上搜索到的图片。作品
反应了谷歌的算法将信息“再媒体化”（re－mediation）的现象。
Sudo Ebola, 2015
This is a multi-media installation. ‘Sudo Ebola’ is hypothetical virus living in both digital
and biological form. It evolves and transmits through internet like a computer virus. It
also attacks devices like ‘DNA 3D Printers‘. So it can infect living creatures as well.

这是一件多媒体装置。“Sudo埃博拉”是一种假想中的病毒。它有虚拟态和生物态两种生存
形式。虚拟态的Sudo埃博拉像电脑病毒一样在网络上传播；当虚拟态感染了线上的基因
打印机时，会操作打印机输出其生物态的基因，以此来感染其他生物。
Xiaobo Fu is a visual artist and photographer based in London and Shanghai. He is also
a co-founder and director at maps studios – an organization promoting UK creatives in
Europe and China.
